Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licences for Importation of Tomatoes.
14.
Licences for the importation of tomatoes during the control period are issued to persons or firms recorded as having imported tomatoes in the years 1956-58. In addition to the 45 persons or firms which were granted import licences in 1959 and 1960, 21 applications were received this season of which 16 were refused because the applicants had not imported tomatoes in the datum period (1956-1958). The total number of licences granted this season is 50.
