Vol. 191 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

38.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that certain local authorities specify that, in order to provide for water and sewerage schemes to an already established small housing scheme, there must be a unanimous request for such facilities by all the householders; and that this provision creates undue hardship on those householders who are denied these facilities because of the refusal of one or more householders to seek them for financial or other reasons; and, if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter.

I am not so aware. If the Deputy furnishes details of any such case, I shall look into the matter further.
