A consultant, whose report has been presented to the House and published, advised that Dingle Harbour could not be recommended for major development. A State grant has been offered towards the cost of resurfacing the pier and it is a matter for the Harbour Commissioners to have the work carried out. I understand that work on this project has started this week.
