Vol. 192 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Tipperary Lands.

113.

asked the Minister for Lands what the position is with regard to having the lands at Adamstown, Templemore, County Tipperary, divided amongst the deserving applicants of that area.

The lands referred to, comprising some 49 acres, were conveyed to trustees in 1915 for use as cowpark. The Land Commission are at present investigating the operation of the trust scheme but it is not yet possible to indicate what the outcome of this investigation will be. I understand, however, that deserving local needs can be fully catered for on other lands already in the possession of the Land Commission.
