Vol. 192 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Coast Erosion.

24.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will examine the question of permanent protection work at Pilmore, Youghal and Garryvoe, County Cork, to save valuable land now being damaged by coast erosion.

As indicated by the Minister for Lands in reply to a question by the Deputy last week, these embankments will be considered under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, but I cannot say at present when they can be reached in the arterial drainage programme.
