Vol. 192 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Quarters for Married Soldiers in Limerick.

83.

asked the Minister for Defence when his Department propose to provide adequate quarters for married members of the Defence Forces in Limerick.

The provision of additional married quarters at Dún an tSáirséalaigh is under consideration as part of a scheme to improve the housing conditions of married soldiers at the larger military centres. I am not yet in a position to say when a scheme for this post is likely to be undertaken.

I might add that in recent years the existing married quarters in Dún an tSáirséalaigh have been considerably improved and extended.
