Vol. 192 No. 8

Committee on Finance. - Business of Dáil.

I understand the Whips have met and reached agreement on the business to be taken. I want you, Sir, to make that agreement on Order of the House. The agreement is to the effect that No. 5 on the Order Paper will be taken at 9 o'clock, or sooner, on the termination of the debate on Agriculture—sooner if I conclude before 9 o'clock, or, if I do not conclude at 9 o'clock, at some later time, should I conclude before 10.30 p.m.

No. The understanding, as I appreciated it, is that No. 5, the health services motion, will be taken at the conclusion of the Supplementary Estimate for Agriculture, if it concludes before 9 o'clock. If it does not conclude before 9 o'clock, it will be taken at 9 o'clock and the Supplementary Estimate will be taken as the first business tomorrow morning.

That arrangement pleases me even better.

Agreed and ordered accordingly.
