Vol. 192 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Re-Opening of Tipperary School.

32.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Education if he will consider re-opening the national school at Glenbane, County Tipperary, where it is claimed there are fifty children in the locality prepared to attend.

My Department is at present making a comprehensive survey of the school needs of the area which includes Glenbane, County Tipperary. Until that survey has been completed and fully considered, it will not be possible for me to make any statement in regard to the matter.
