Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of the disqualification for holding a driving licence remitted by him on 14th December last the reason why the disqualification was imposed.

The disqualification was imposed for failing to stop a motor car at a "Stop" sign, contrary to bye-law 7(2)(h) of the general bye-laws for the Control of Traffic 1937, as amended by the amending bye-laws of 1956.
