Vol. 193 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Letting of Greystones (Wicklow) Houses.

17.

asked the Minister for Finance what the position is regarding two houses in the old Coastguard Terrace, Greystones, County Wicklow, which have been vacant for several years past; if applications have been made for the renting of them; and if it is proposed to make lettings.

The two houses referred to are to be converted into official married quarters for the Garda Síochána at Grevstones. Because of difficulties connected with the renewal of the lease under which the coastguard property was held, the execution of the necessary works was delayed. Those difficulties have now been resolved, and arrangements are being made to have the works put in hands as soon as possible.
