Vol. 193 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundaries.

12.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will define the boundaries of (a) the county borough of Dublin and (b) the borough of Dún Laoghaire.

The boundaries of Dublin county borough are defined in the First Schedule to the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1930, in Section 4 of the Local Government (Dublin) (Amendment) Act, 1940, and in the Schedules to the Local Government and Public Health Provisional Order Confirmation Act, 1941, and the Local Government Provisional Order Confirmation Act, 1953.

Section 3 of the 1930 Act cites the areas included in the borough of Dún Laoghaire constituted by that Act.

The Commissioner of Valuation is required by law to prepare maps showing the county borough boundary and to retain them for inspection by any person, free of charge.

A large-scale map showing the boundary of Dún Laoghaire borough may also be inspected in the office of the Commissioner.
