asked the Taoiseach if he will state (a) the total weight and (b) the sterling value of all (1) fresh fish (2) salted fish (3) smoked fish (4) processed fish and (5) tinned fish imported for the twelve months ending 28th February 1962, and the countries of origin of such fish.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing for the calendar year 1961 (the latest period for which such information is available) the quantity and value of the imports of fish from each country of origin under the headings for which the information is recorded.
