asked the Taoiseach the total value of Irish goods exported to France for each of the three years ended 30th November, 1961, or the nearest convenient date and the three main items of export; if he will give similar details regarding imports from France during the same period; and if he will state the estimated drop in the value of Irish exports to France for 1962 due to the order preventing the export of working type horses, aged seven years and over.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the total value of imports originating in, and of exports to, France, for each of the years 1959 to 1961, together with the three main items of Import and Export in each year.
It is not possible to make the estimate the Deputy requires, but the value of exports of non-bloodstock horses to France in the past three years is contained in the statement.
