Vol. 194 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rush (Dublin) Water and Sewerage Services.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the fact that despite the existence of a large water tank in the midst of the council cottages at Hayestown, Rush, County Dublin, the cottage tenants are without water and sewerage services; and if in view of this he will cause Dublin County Council to take immediate steps to provide services to the cottages concerned.

I am informed by Dublin County Council that a recent proposal to provide water supply and sewerage services to the cottages in question was not proceeded with because of the refusal of all but two of the tenants concerned to accept the services on the normal terms offered by the council.
