Vol. 194 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Skibbereen (Cork) Water Supply.

65.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the serious situation regarding water supply in the town of Skibbereen, County Cork; and that large numbers of householders have to draw water; and if he is prepared to take steps to expedite the scheme.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his Question of the 21st instant on the subject. The matter is one for the local authority, who are fully aware of the need for early action having regard to the present unsatisfactory water supply in the urban area.

The remaining Questions will appear on tomorrow's Order Paper.
