asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the Blake Estate, Rathville, Kiltulla, Athenry, County Galway is the subject matter of compulsory acquisition proceedings by the Land Commission; that the Land Court recently reserved its decision on acquisition for a period of two years; and that the owner has obtained a Court Order to evict the herd, Mr. Michael Griffin, from the property concerned; and if he will accordingly take steps to (a) prevent the owner proceeding with this action or (b) ensure that the rights of Michael Griffin for consideration by the Land Commission under the Land Acts will be preserved notwithstanding the ejectment order.

The proceedings between the owner and the herd have been decided recently by the High Court and the Land Commission are not concerned in those proceedings.
As regards Mr. Griffin's application for an allotment, this matter will be considered if and when these lands are acquired by the Land Commission.
