No land has yet been acquired by my Department for forestry purposes in the Magheramore district. Agreement to purchase three areas totalling 127 acres in the townland of Churchland Quarters has been reached but the owners have not yet shown title to the lands. Pending completion of the proceedings, I am unable to state when work will commence on the lands.
