asked the Minister for Finance the estimated consumption of (a) tobacco, (b) beer, (c) whiskey and (d) petrol and oil in the financial year 1960-61 expressed as a percentage of consumption in 1953-54 and calculated in each case by reference to quantities retained for home consumption for duty purposes.

The following statement gives the information requested:—
