asked the Minister for Finance the net receipts from excise duties for each of the years 1959-60, 1960-61 and 1961-62 respectively from (1) beer, (2) betting, (3) entertainments, (4) firearm certificates, (5) licences, (6) matches, (7) light hydrocarbon oil, (8) other sorts hydrocarbon, (9) spirits, (10) table waters and (11) tyres and the totals each year.

The total net receipts from excise duties in the years referred to were as follows:—
