45.

asked the Minister for Justice why the Garda who had given his evidence first in Irish in the District Court hearing in Blessington on the 20th December 1961 in the case of the Attorney-General v. Ó Cuinneagáin, at the appeal hearing in the Circuit Court in Naas, County Kildare on the 13th March, during what is traditionally regarded as Irish Week, gave his evidence in English only; and what action he proposes to take in the matter.
