asked the Taoiseach the price paid by West Germany for Irish butter exported to that country during the past six months, and the price paid for Irish butter by Great Britain during the same period.

For the six months October, 1961, to March, 1962, the latest period for which information is available, the average price (f.o.b.) for creamery butter exported to Germany (Federal Republic) was 303s. 10d. per cwt. The corresponding figure for exports to Britain was 267s. 8d. per cwt.
