Vol. 195 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Problems of Small Western Farms.

4.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether, further to replies of 3rd May in which he stated that the Report on the Problems of Small Western Farms had been made available to the public in order to stimulate constructive discussion on how the problems of small farms can best be tackled and that no decision had yet been taken on any of the recommendations, he will state what length of time he proposes to allow for such constructive discussion to take place; and at what date he expects to come to any decision on the recommendations contained in the Report.

While the Government will consider and announce as soon as possible their decisions on the recommendations contained in this report, it is not practicable to indicate a precise date.
