2.

Mr. Ryan

andMr. Rooney asked the Minister for Health whether he has any information that the Dublin Health Authority propose to provide a dispensary in Chapelizod to meet the needs of many elderly people in that district who suffer severe hardship at present in climbing a long steep hill and walking a considerable distance to the present nearest dispensary in Ballyfermot.

I have no information that the Dublin Health Authority propose to provide a dispensary in Chapelizod. The matter is one for the Health authority in the first instance and I understand that, following representations which they have recently received in the matter. the health authority are considering the need for a dispensary in that district.

I have asked the health authority to keep me informed of developments in the matter.
