It has not been the practice to issue annual reports on the work of my Department, but three reports, each covering several years, have been published. The latest such report, relating to the years 1954 to 1958, was presented to both Houses of the Oireachtas on 28th March, 1959. A further report covering the period up to 31st March, 1962, is being prepared, and I hope to have it issued by the end of this year.
