Repairs have already been done to the portions of the pier and the buildings on it which were made dangerous by the storm. Repairs to the surface of the pier will be completed in the next two weeks. It has been decided in order to provide additional working space to demolish some of the old stores on the pier and that work will be completed before the herring fishing season opens.
