asked the Minister for Finance if in view of the serious damage recently done to large areas of arable land in the Ardsbeg, Ardsmore, Gortahork and Killult districts of West Donegal he will take steps to introduce legislation before the coming winter to make available funds for the arrest of coastal erosion.

As I stated here recently the Coast Protection Bill will be introduced this year.

Does that mean this session?

This year.

Is there no hope of having it before the winter?
