Vol. 196 No. 6

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 12, and 13 (Votes 41, 40 and 42). It is not proposed to interrupt Public Business to take Private Deputies' Business. It is proposed to take Questions at 3 p.m.

Would the Taoiseach consider a break of an hour in the discussion on the Intoxicating Liquor Bill, that is, if the members of the House would also agree to it?

Would the Deputy not hope that it will be finished?

I do not think it will. Would the Taoiseach not consider it for the sake of the Minister and the House?

Would he consider taking the Fisheries Estimate during the break?

I would have to check upon the availability of the Parliamentary Secretary. I shall announce it at Question Time.

With regard to item No. 2 on the Order Paper, the Offences against the State (Amendment) Bill, may I ask the Taoiseach when the Government will be able to give time for that Bill?

If the Deputy will inform the Whips' office when he wants it ordered, it will be ordered for that day.
