The Company which is working these deposits have informed me of the financial and other difficulties which they are experiencing, and discussions have taken place.
I am not at present in a position to make a definite statement to the Dáil regarding the future of these deposits, but I hope to be able to do so at a fairly early date.
Will that be definitely before 19th July?
I would say that some statement would be made within two or three weeks, without specifying any particular date.
