On inquiry, I have been informed by the Electricity Supply Board that Farthingstown is included in the Rochfortbridge rural area to which rural electrification has already been extended. Application for electricity supply was recently received from a group of sixteen householders at Farthingstown. Arrangements are being made by the Board to have a re-canvass made of residents in the district at an early date. Terms will then be quoted to interested householders.
