With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a table giving the number and total value of university scholarships awarded by each council and borough council in the year 1961/62 and their financial provision for the award of scholarships in the year 1962/63. Because of the different values of scholarships, it is not possible to estimate how many scholarships each council and borough council will award in the year 1962/63.

Do the local bodies not tell the Minister what their schemes are?
The schemes are sactioned by the Minister but I do not seem to have the information.
Surely the number of scholarships is included in the scheme?
I do not seem to have the information, but if the Deputy will put down the question again, I shall try to get the information for him.
