Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Georgian Buildings.

48.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the appeal against the decision of the Dublin City Manager to permit the Electricity Supply Board to demolish the examples of eighteenth-century architecture in Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin.

Correspondence in regard to the appeal under the Town and Regional Planning Acts in relation to the demolition and rebuilding of the Electricity Supply Board's premises at 13/28 Lower Fitzwilliam Street has been proceeding since the appeal was made and the matter is still under consideration in my Department. It is not possible to say at this stage when a decision will be reached.
