asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding provision of a new national school at Clonsilla, County Dublin, the date of commencement and completion, the estimated cost, and how many pupils will be accommodated.

A grant has been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of the proposed new national school at Clonsilla, County Dublin, estimated at £11,500. The Commissioners of Public Works expect to be in a position to invite tenders for the work next month. The new school will provide accommodation for 128 pupils. It is not possible at this stage to say when the work will commence or finish.
