asked the Minister for Education whether he is satisfied that the needs of parents to provide primary school education for their children in the Rathfarnham area are met by present facilities; if not, what plans he has for dealing with the problem.

As a result of investigations of school accommodation needs in this area, the following action will be undertaken:

(a) Extension of the Loreto Convent girls' school.

(b) Erection of new schools for girls and infants at Ballyroan.

(c) Erection of a new school for boys at Ballyroan.
