Vol. 197 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - George Bernard Shaw Statue.

56.

asked the Minister for Education whether he has considered the proposal that Troubetzkoy's statue of George Bernard Shaw should be erected in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin; and, if so, what is the present position.

This statue forms part of the collection of works of art for which the Board of Governors and Guardians of the National Gallery is responsible. I am arranging to have the proposal brought to their attention.
