I understand that a school health examination was last carried out in the two national schools in Arranmore Island on the 11th and 12th June, 1959.
The Health Authority had intended to carry out an examination of the school children on the island earlier this year but this had to be deferred because of absence through illness in the medical staff. I understand that the examination has been arranged to take place within the next few weeks.
