Vol. 197 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Mayo Fishing Harbour.

70.

asked the Minister for Lands if a final decision regarding the establishment of a fishing harbour at Rosmoney, Westport, County Mayo, has yet been reached; and, if not, when such a decision can be expected.

No decision will be taken in this matter pending receipt and consideration of an engineering report from the Office or Public Works.

Has the Parliamentary Secretary any intention of establishing a fishing harbour at Inislyre in County Mayo?

I have answered the question.

The Parliamentary Secretary has no intention of establishing a fishing harbour.

I will repeat my reply:

No decision will be taken in this matter pending receipt and consideration of an engineering report from the Office of Public Works.

The Parliamentary Secretary had Mr. Bjuke down there. He was only sent down to fool the people because the Parliamentary Secretary is not going to do anything at all.

Be careful of Tramore now.

There is no danger of anything being done in Tramore. They catch fish down there.
