Might I ask the Taoiseach whether it is the Government's intention to pursue the idea of taking part in the defence of Europe, irrespective of whether or not our application for membership is successful?
That seems to be a different question altogether.
Surely it arises out of the Taoiseach's reply. If the Taoiseach likes, I will put down a question.
In my opinion, it is a separate question.
