Vol. 198 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyroan (Laois) Call Box.

71.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will make immediate arrangements for the erection of a public telephone call box in Ballyroan, County Laois; if he has received a request from Laois County Council for the erection of such a call box in the public interest; and if it can be cerected before the end of the present financial year.

The answer to each part of the Question is in the negative.

There is already a public telephone call office in Ballyroan post office. The level of receipts from it indicate that the erection of a street kiosk would not be warranted.
