Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes in County Waterford.

25.

asked the Minister for Local Government what water and sewerage schemes have been sanctioned for County Waterford during the past year; and what schemes are at present before his Department for approval.

The following proposals from Waterford County Council in connection with water supply and sewerage schemes were approved during the past year: (a) acceptance of a tender for the extension of the Lismore-Cappoquin water supply scheme to Affane-Tourin; (b) outline proposals for Tramore and Ballinagoul sewerage schemes; and (c) contract documents for Clashmore and Villierstown sewerage schemes.

Contract documents for the Ballinagoul sewerage scheme have been submitted but approval thereof is with-held pending receipt of a further report requested from the consulting engineer.
