Vol. 198 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Estate.

30.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have any proposals for the acquisition for division of the Lonergan Estate, Tinolina, Ballinamult, County Waterford; and, if not, whether he will impress upon them the necessity for acquiring this estate in view of the fact that these lands have been set by conacre for many years, and in view of the needs of deserving applicants in the area.

Certain inquiries in relation to this estate were made by the Land Commission as a result of which the general position regarding the property is known to them but I am unable to give a forecast of the outcome.

I shall have the Deputy's representations brought to the notice of the Land Commission.
