Vol. 199 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Striping of Mayo Bog.

70.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will have the Ballyveeney Bog, County Mayo, striped, and a new road made to accommodate Mulranny tenants, some of whom have very little bog.

I presume the Deputy is referring to 155 acres of turbary reserved to the Land Commission at Claggan Mountain. Proposals for development of this turbary are at present under consideration. The proposed development works include the provision of an access road to the bog.
