Vol. 200 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity Supply for County Galway Houses.

30.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the total number of rural householders in County Galway who are still without a supply of electricity; and what action is proposed by the ESB to afford the unconnected householders concerned an opportunity of accepting supply at the most favourable terms now available under the revised subsidy arrangements.

Out of approximately 26,000 households in Galway, some 8,000 are still without electricity. Any householder or group of householders in the county still without supply will be quoted terms on the basis of the revised subsidy on application to the Board's district manager, Galway.
