Vol. 200 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Road Damage.

48.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether it is proposed to provide a State grant to Dublin Corporation to enable them to repair with the utmost speed the heavy damage caused to many roads in Dublin city by the recent inclement weather.

I have not received any representations from Dublin Corporation in this matter. Their existing resources, including their ordinary road improvement and upkeep grants from the Road Fund, should be adequate to enable them to remedy any damage caused by the recent severe weather.
