(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Health the number of health clinics established in the Republic to date, and the location and total cost of each.

I presume that the health clinics referred to in the Deputy's question are county and similar clinics provided by local health authorities in the postwar period. 29 such clinics were provided in this period. In addition, work is in progress on a county clinic at Naas and is about to commence on a clinic at Enniscorthy. As the reply to the remainder of the question is in the form of a tabular statement, it is proposed, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
