asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in expansion of a reply of 19th July, 1962 as regards the year 1962 in relation to road workers' wages (a) the amount of increase per week, (b) the date from which payable, and (c) the effective rate of wages on 31st December, 1962; and if he will give details of any proposals now awaiting sanction in his Department, including the proposed dates of operation.

Proposals from Dublin County Council for an increase of 10/- per week from the 3rd September, 1962 and from Clare County Council for an increase of 5/- per week with effect from 1st April, 1963 are at present under consideration in my Department.
