As I pointed out yesterday in reply to another Question by the Deputy, Income Tax statistics are not compiled in such a manner as would show separately the amount paid on profits of companies. In my reply I indicated how estimates could be made from the particulars relating to taxes which are contained in Tables A5 and A15 of "National Income and Expenditure, 1961", copies of which are in the Library.
