asked the Minister for Education the number of schools in the city of Dublin scheduled for repair in the coming financial year, and their location.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:—

NATIONAL Schools in the City of Dublin at which major schemes of improvement or reconstruction are likely to commence during the financial year 1963-1964.

N.B.—The above schedule refers only to major schemes of improvement and reconstruction. The carrying out of ordinary repairs and minor improvements is a matter for the school managers. It is not possible to furnish any information as to what schools will be repaired by school managers.
