Vol. 201 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Ferbane (Offaly) Estate.

40.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have purchased the Greene Estate, Rosfarahan, Ferbane, County Offaly; and, if so, when it is proposed to prepare for a scheme for its division amongst the local smallholders and deserving applicants in the area.

Whilst agreement has been reached for purchase of this 236 acre estate, possession of the property has not yet passed to the Land Commission. It is still too early to indicate when resale proposals will be formulated.
