andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he will state in respect of the CIE Wage Grade Pension Scheme (a) the number of employees concerned; (b) the number of pensioners and the weekly amounts paid; (c) the average payment made; (d) the number of pensioners in each of the various categories; (e) the annual income from (i) employees' and (ii) the Board's contributions respectively in each of the years from 1958 to the most recent date for which figures are available; (f) the percentage increase in annual contributions from the employees and from the Board in 1962 as compared with 1955; (g) the sum now standing to the credit of the scheme, and how the money is invested; and (h) whether the employees as contributors are given direct representation in the administration of the scheme.
