Vol. 202 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dunmore East (Waterford) Harbour.

16.

asked the Minister for Finance when work for the improvement and extension of Dunmore East fishing port, County Waterford, will commence; and what is the estimated cost.

It is hoped that work will commence at Dunmore East in the autumn of this year. The estimated cost of the work is approximately £275,000.

Is that a positive date, that these works will commence this year?

There is no apparent reason why they should not commence in the autumn.

The Parliamentary Secretary will realise that I have got so many promises from Fianna Fáil that have not been kept.

You can take this for certain.

Put that on the record in letters of gold.

I hope the Parliamentary Secretary's prophecy will be a better one than his prophecy about the sales tax.
